Sweetmeat, 1 Squash
This sweet winter squash is an Oregon heirloom, reselected by Carol Deppe for flavor and long storage life. Size is 15-20 lb per squash. Bake one, and eat it as a cooked vegetable, then as squash soup, then as pumpkin pie, and then freeze the rest for later! You'll be set for all winter. Grown by Harcombe Farm near Albany.
