Acorn Winter Squash, Organic

2-3 squash per 5 pound increment. Acorn is one of the most under-rated winter squash out there. We grow ours for the flavor, and what a flavor it is! Sweet enough for dessert but also savory enough for side dishes, it's as versatile as it is tasty. Don't bother peeling it. Cut in half, bake face down then either scoop out the flesh or serve as a little squash boat. It doesn't get easier than that. Certified organic by Oregon Tilth.
