Italian Prune Plum sauce ~ no add sugar ~ 12oz

This amazing sauce was made from "shake ripe" heirloom Italian prunes. Slowly cooked down to thicken for sauce. This means they were at their peak ripeness and would literally fall off the tree if shaken. In the farming community, the fresh fruit is called a prune. A family member, as a young man, worked harvesting in a prune orchard. To pull out of a sales slump, the industry rebranded and began to refer to them as prune plums.
