A diverse mix of flower seeds that can be scattered across orchard floors, vineyard pathways, pastures, and lawns to add blooming diversity.  Mow as close to the ground as possible before seeding.  Less successful in dense sod areas, but sprinkle on gopher mounds and bare patches.

From Buzz: "Twenty-one species of flowers to over-seed onto established vineyard & orchard floors or headlands. Selected for high seedling vigor, short stature and attractiveness to pollinators. Prepare ground by mowing existing vegetation as short as possible, ideally with a flail.  A light drag-harrow will help to create a space for the seeds to take root. Seeds cannot grow in very dense sod, so if this is what you have, it must be mechanically disturbed before sowing. Broadcast and roll or drill at less than 1/4” depth. Recommend mixing with a bulking agent if mechanically applied. Another good technique is to hand scatter seed onto tailing piles left by burrowing critters. Best sown between Nov-March."

Seed rate 3-5 lb/acre.  Or 1 lb covers up to 8,000 square feet.
