What makes this Concord the best? Why is it so different from others?
Our clone of Concord Grape was propagated from my Uncle Ted's heritage vineyard.
18 years ago, we took cuttings and started our own vineyard right here, north of Corvallis.
The vines have matured into strong, vigorous vines that are dry-farmed. Dry-farmed along with sea bed sedimentary soil provides the mineral base that the plants draw on. All grapes, whether made into juice or wine, are influenced by the terroir.
